Buffalo miniature effect

Modern picture editing tools (that come with phones and are available for RAW editors as well) can create incredible shallow depth of field, wherever you need it in your shot. I sometimes last year wondered whether I could create "the miniature effect" by using just my lens and camera. Lo and behold! Here is an example where distance to subject (the most important aspect in DOF calculations) perfectly suited the desired effect.
